TMCA arranged 11th Blood Donation Camp honoring
Kuwait National and Liberation Days.

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA), a pioneer Indian associations established in Kuwait in the year 1995 and registered at Embassy of India.  Since then it has been serving the neediest people at large irrespective of caste, creed and color.   TMCA has been conducting blood donation camp during the last eleven consecutive years especially on the occasions of Kuwait's National Day and Liberation Day as one of its aims and objectives creating awareness amongst its members the need for donating blood. Accordingly, a special blood donation camp was held on 25th Thursday February 2016 at Central Blood Bank in Jabriya honoring Kuwait’s 55th National Day & 25th Liberation Day.

Tamilnadu Muslim Cultural Association (TMCA) and its members, particularly its Co-ordination Council under the guidance of its newly elected executive body, dedicated themselves volunteering camp activities and members representing other brotherly associations in Kuwait extended their whole-hearted support with all enthusiasm honoring the occasions.

The donors started donating blood between 07:30 a.m. and 01:00 p.m.  The official inauguration program commenced at 10:00 a.m sharp at the Main Lobby at Central Blood Bank, Jabriya in the presence of His Excellency Shri Sunil Jain, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait as a Chief Guest. 

Brother S.M. Abdul Kadir, Executive Co-coordinator of TMCA initiated the program and staged the maestro in administering the whole ceremony. The program began with recitation of verses from Holy Qur’an by Master Abdul Basith followed by its translation in English by him.

Brother S.M.Abdul Kadir gave a welcome speech.  He welcomed all guests, donors, volunteers, members of the association, office bearers and representatives of brotherly associations.  He mentioned in his welcome speech that the presence of guests to the blood donation camp resonate the aims and objectives of TMCA.  He further explained the need for blood donation and how such a voluntary and altruistic action of donors saves lives of people in need of blood.


Brother M. Mubarak Ali, General Secretary of TMCA gave an excellent Presidential address. In his address, he spoke in brief highlighting TMCA's innumerable activities and noble services rendered to the benefit of the society with his high vision of taking TMCA to the forefront and as a good model.

Chief guest address was delivered by His Excellency, Shri. Sunil Jain, Indian Ambassador to Kuwait. His Excellency in his speech encouraged blood donation and appreciated TMCA’s continuous efforts in organizing such blood donation camps and other events for the benefit of the society.  Dr.Rania representing Central Blood Bank, Mr. Syed Iftikar Ahamed – President of Federation of Indian Muslim Association (FIMA), Mr. A. Hidayathullah, Secretary-General of FIMA, Dr. Vinod Grover – President of Indian Doctors Forum, Bro. Basheer Batha and Bro. Farooq Hamadani, Office-bearers of KKMCC felicitated the event.

On behalf of TMCA, a special memento was presented to Blood Bank Administration by His Excellency Shri. Sunil Jain, Ambassador of India to Kuwait in the presence of TMCA Executive Committee as token of appreciation and thanking their continuous support and services on this day. Blood Bank distributed special gifts to all donors appreciating their gesture. Around 100 valued donors turned-out to make it as a remarkable one donating blood expressing their humanitarian spirit.

Certificate of Appreciation were also awarded to all donors and volunteers acknowledging their valuable participation and support to make this noble event a grand success for the sake of Allah.

Mr. Al-Mass Musthafa, former TMCA President, and TMCA Advisors and heads and representatives of various brotherly associations were present gracing this event. TMCA arranged and also distributed refreshments to donors and volunteers as sponsored by Veldon Bro. Mohamed Ghouse, New Madurai Restaurant Bro.Ali and Bro.Ramzi Shajahan.


Brother Pullambadi Abdul Karim, Joint Secretary of TMCA gave vote of thanks expressing TMCA’s heart-felt thanks and appreciations to all guests, blood bank administration, sponsors, donors, volunteers, brotherly associations and well-wishers for their notable contribution and dedicated support.
